You can trust us with your personal data! Digital security systems encrypt the data which is transferred to us. Our websites are protected against damage, destruction or unauthorized access by means of technical measures.

Subject Matter of Data Protection

The subject matter of data protection is personal data. According to section 3 paragraph 1 of the BDSG, this is individual information of a personal or factual nature for a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes data such as name, postal address, email address, or telephone number but also user data such as your IP address.

Scope of Data Collection and Storage

In general, you are not required to enter personal data in order to use our website. However, we may require your personal data in order to provide our services. This applies to mailing informational material or ordered goods as well as responding to individual queries.

If you commission us to provide a service or mail goods, we will collect and store your personal data only to the extent necessary for the provision of the service or the execution of the contract. It may also be necessary to forward your personal data to companies appointed by us to provide the service or process the contract. These are e.g. transport companies or
other service providers.

Once the contract has been completed, your data will be blocked and it will be deleted after expiry of deadlines as per tax-related and commercial regulations, unless you have explicitly agreed to further use of the data.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter with your email address, we will also use your email address beyond the execution of the contract for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Cookies and analytics

This static website does not use Google Analytics, visitor profiling or advertising trackers. No cookies are required to browse its pages. Fonts, styles and images used by the site are served locally. The optional OpenStreetMap map is described separately below.

Server access logs

When a page or file is requested, the web server records technical access information, including the requesting IP address, request time, requested address, response status, transferred size, referring page and browser information. These records support operation, troubleshooting and security of the website. They are not anonymous visitor analytics.

Contact

You can contact us using the email address or telephone number shown on the contact page. The website itself does not provide an online contact form, newsletter registration or user account. Sending an email uses your email provider and is separate from browsing this website.

Appropriate Use of Data

We observe the principle of data use for a specific purpose and we collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have communicated it to us. Your personal data is not forwarded to third parties without your explicit consent, insofar as this is not necessary for the provision of the service or execution of the contract. Transmission to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive information also only takes place within the scope of legal disclosure requirements or if we are required by a court decision
to disclose this information.

We also take our internal data protection very seriously. Our employees and the service providers appointed by us are bound by us to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.

Right of Disclosure and Withdrawal

At any time and without giving any reason, you can request at no cost information about your personal data that is stored by us. You may at any time request that the data that has been collected by us is blocked, corrected or deleted. You may also at any time and without giving any reason revoke the consent you have given us to collect and use the data. OpenStreetMap maps

Our contact page offers an optional OpenStreetMap map to help you locate our office. The map service is provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), United Kingdom, and its service providers. The map is blocked until you select “Load map”. Merely visiting the contact page does not load the map or its map tiles.

When you load the map, your browser connects directly to OSMF’s infrastructure. This transmits your IP address and technical request information, such as browser and device information, request time, the requested map area and, depending on your browser settings, referring-page information. Map tiles are delivered through a worldwide network of servers, so processing may take place outside the EU/EEA. OSMF describes its own processing, storage and service providers in its privacy policy linked below.

Activation is voluntary. Where the GDPR applies, our activation and associated transmission are based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You give this consent by selecting “Load map” after reading the notice. You can withdraw it for future map loading at any time by selecting “Remove map”, which removes the embedded map. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal and cannot recall data already transmitted to OSMF.

We do not store your map choice in cookies or local storage. A new page load requires activation again. Our address, phone and email contact options remain available without activating the map. Choosing an external OpenStreetMap link takes you to that provider’s website, where its privacy policy applies.
